Very helpful, knowledgeable and above all, had exactly what I wanted. I had to make a repair on some motorcycle fabric leggings and had a vague idea of what I needed. I left with exactly the right thread and a wax to do the job

This was a lovely little shop, the owner was friendly and helpful and my partner found several things she bought at very reasonable prices.

I travelled to this shop specifically encouraged by their reputation. Sadly I did not meet with friendly staff as described on the web site .The staff member did not look up when I entered even though there was no one else in the shop. I knew what I wanted , had the samples with me but as it was five minutes to lunch time I was told my requirements would take longer and lunch time was important. I hope the owner of the shop reads this as business to the value of several thousand pounds was turned away, I’m amazed anyone can afford to do that in these difficult post Covid times. I have also tried to speak to the owner but surprisingly no one picks up the phone- probably tea break !

So helpful, stock good range of items. Prices acceptable. Would always buy locally help the economy of the town. Would recommend every time.

Don't get me wrong; I love this tiny, quirky shop. 4 stars because they just don't have the space for a good selection of dressmaking fabrics. They do hold an amazing selection of soft furnishing fabrics. However, they do hold a comprehensive selection of notions. The great value of this lovely shop is the very high chance that you will be served by a knowledgeable, helpful and patient person.

The shop is fantastic I fell in love with a dress n scarf on impulse I bought both it's a one size oh it fits beautiful n I'm a 18/20 go look it's worth it
